NU-LED is located on the ground floor of the Technological Institute (Tech) adjacent to the Research Shop in room NG36. The closest building entrance is located in the Northeast corner of the building. To those not accustomed to Tech, navigating the building can be a daunting task. For your convenience, please use the
interactive map of Tech.
Intercampus Shuttle Bus
If you are coming from the Chicago campus, the easiest method is to take the intercampus shuttle bus. The bus conveniently stops right in front of the main entrance of the Tech building on Sheridan Rd. Note that the main entrance of the building is Floor 1. You will need to go down one level to reach the ground floor.
Public Transportation
Take the Purple Line of the "L" to the Noyes St. stop. Walk east along Noyes St. for three blocks until you reach Sheridan Rd. The Tech building will be directly across Sheridan Rd. with the main entrance on your right. Note that the main entrance of the building is Floor 1. You will need to go down one level to reach the ground floor.
Driving
The north campus parking garage is located a short walk away from the Tech building (2311 North Campus Drive). Parking is available to the public for $9/day, but be aware that spaces are limited in the winter months. Generally, the garage will be completely full at or around 10-10:30AM as soon as the weather starts to turn cold.
