This pulse calibration is performed using the paropt AU program. p3 is set to 80u and pl2 is varied from 13 to 20 dB using a 1 dB step. When using a small pl2 value (for instance, 13u), we observe antiphase signals at 3.2 ppm. pl2 is increased until the signals become zero (near 16dB) and this is the 90 degree 13C pulse from the decoupler at low-power level. These values are used for 13C GARP decoupling in all inverse applications.RELATED ITEMSA similar procedure is followed to measure the High-power 13C pulse calibration from decoupler.
