PRELIMINARY SET-UP PARAMETER SET
From the reference 1H spectrum create a new dataset with edc and change the pulse program (pulprog zgpr).All other parameters as in the 1H spectrum. A standard parameter set (WATERSUP) is also available.

MODIFY SPECIFIC PARAMETERS
Presaturation experiments are recorded without sample spinning.

Set o1 on-resonance to the solvent resonance to be presaturated (o1 may be finely adjusted in gs mode).

The power level and the duration of the presaturation are defined by  pl19 (start with 55 dB) and d1 (2 s), respectively.

ACQUISITION
(minimum number of scans ns=8).
PROCESSING
The linewidth is measured at 50% height of the DSS signal and at 10% thereof. The signal to noise is measured on the doublet left to the water signal over a noise range of 1.5 ppm between 5.5ppm and 9.5ppm. Make sure the baseline of this expanded part of the spectra is corrected. On the same doublet the splitting is measured. The splitting must go lower than 40%. This is automatically calculated by typing suppcal.

OBSERVATIONS
It is advisable to store all acquisition and processing parameters (for instance, with the command wpar presat all) to be used later.
