Standard line shape test sample: 3% CHCl3 in Acetone-d6 for 100-400MHz and 1% CHCl3 in Acetone-d6 for 500-800MHz.PARAMETER SET
The calibration of the 1H line shape is performed using a standard 1H parameter set that can be loaded by typing rpar PROHUMP all (the pulse program is set to pulprog zg30).MODIFY SPECIFIC PARAMETERS
The test is usually performed using a sample spinning rate of 20 Hz.ACQUISITION
The basic parameter are set to:
Due to different relaxation rates of chloroform-12C and chloroform-13C, fast repetition of scanning or the use of dummy scans (ds=0) will give satellites higher than 0.55%, arising from saturation of the main signal. The intensity of the satellites should be checked. Using a CY of 1000 should give 5.5 cm high satellites lines. Should the FID not have decayed to zero after the given acquisition time then increase SI and TD.
PROCESSING
The AU humpcal program determine the width of the cloroform line at the height of the carbon satellites (0.55%) and at one fifth thereof (0.11%).PLOT
OBSERVATIONS
The line shape test is also performed without sample spinning.See spectrum
