• Record a conventional ¹H spectrum. Note the frequency (o1) of the solvent resonance.

Use the basic parameter set for conventional solvent presaturation and change the pulse program (pulprog zgps).

Presaturation experiments are recorded without sample spinning.

Set o1 on-resonance to the solvent resonance to be presaturated (o1 may be finely adjusted in gs mode).

Define the pulse shape using stdisp.

The power level and the duration of the presaturation are defined by sp6 and p18*l6 (p18 is set to 100ms and l6 is the loop), respectively.

Solvent suppression can be also achieved by other methods.
