1D INEPT experiment using adiabatic pulse

This is a simple variant of the classical Refocused 1D INEPT experiment in where the two hard 180 degree 13C pulses have been replaced by adiabatic 180 degree pulse for an improved broadband inversion.

The experiment is easily recorded from the standard Refocused INEPT parameter set by changing the pulse program to ineptrdsp.

The parameters defining the adiabatic pulse are:

  • p12 is the duration (needs calibration)
  • sp2 is the power level (needs calibration)
  • spnam2 is the shape, usually Crp60comp.4
  • Data are acquired and processed in the usual way.
