3D (HA)CANH

DESCRIPTION
REQUIREMENTS
Implementation on AVANCE spectrometers equipped with a third channel. Improved versions using pulsed field gradients (PFGs) are also available and, therefore, in such cases gradient technology is required.

The 3D (HA)CANH experiment is applied on 13C,15N-labeled proteins in H2O.

VERSIONS
The original 3D(HA)CANH experiment was proposed in 90JMR183-87 , 96JB98 , 97JB105 , and 95JB25 .

This experiment has been proposed as the basic experiment for complete backbone assignments of small and medium-sized proteins and to determine the 3D structure of protein fragments ( 01JACS9490 ). In addition to give HN, N anc CA correlations, information from 1D(CA-HA) dipolar couplings (with and without isotropic media), 13CA CSA and deviations from random-coil CA isotropic chemical shifts.
