3D HCP-CCH TOCSY

DESCRIPTION
The 3D HCP-CCH TOCSY experiment is a simple extension of the 3D HCP experiment in which 13C magnetization is relayed further to the neighborings 13C nuclei, through the large single-bond 13C-13C scalar coupling via TOCSY in 13C-labeled nucleic acids.

REQUIREMENTS
Implementation on AVANCE spectrometers equipped with a third channel and gradient technology.
VERSIONS
This experiment has been described in 95JB87 Basic Sequence using gradients:

Using Echo-antiecho and sensitivity-improvement:

Other approaches:

  • Simultaneous acquisition of HCN-CCH-TOCSY and HCP-CCH-TOCSY experiments ( 96JB251 ).
  • 2D P(CC)H-TOCSY experiment ( 95JB82 ).
  • An analog HCP-CCH-COSY experiment has been proposed that use a COSY-like transfer ( 95JMRB89-106 )

    SPECTRA
In the HCPCH spectra, all H/C pairs are sorted in a 2D spectrum as a function of 31P chemical shift in the third dimension.
