31P sensitivity test

PRELIMINARY SET-UP
Standard 31P sensitivity test sample: 0.0485M Triphenylphosphate (TPP) in acetone-d6.
  • Record a 1H-coupled 31P spectrum.
  • PARAMETER SET
The calibration of the 31P sensitivity test is performed using the standard 1H-coupled 31P parameter set (the pulse program is set to pulprog zg).

    MODIFY SPECIFIC PARAMETERS
It is very important to use a long recycle delay, usually d1=5*T1(31P) (for instance d1=10 s). Use a single scan (ns=1).

Set p1 to the 90º 31P observe pulse at high power level pl1. This pulse is calibrated reaching the maximum signal for 90º and null point in 180º.

o1 is set on-resonance of the TPP resonance.

    ACQUISITION
    PROCESSING
Transform the spectra using ef (lb=5 Hz) and adjust the phase to pure absorption. Reference the line to 0 Hz and plot the spectrum between 4000 and -4000 Hz.
    See spectrum
    PLOT
Plot the noise with a minimum amplitude of 1.5 cm over a minimum of 1000 Hz.
