1D 6Li spectrum

PRELIMINARY SET-UP PARAMETER SET
Create a new dataset with ..

Read the standard parameter set to record, for instance, a conventional 1H-coupled 11B spectrum with rpar B11ZG all (the pulse program zg can be displayed with the command edcpul). If 1H-decoupling is desired, change the pulse program to zgpg.

MODIFY SPECIFIC PARAMETERS

In the edasp window, select the 6Li nucleus in the f1 channel and 1H in the f2 channel.

Tune and match the probehead for the 6Li and 1H nuclei. If the tuning and matching values are not available, these can be roughly set from other already-defined near resonating nuclei.

By default, set the following parameters to: ns=1, ds=0, d1=1, and td=64k (set o2 to the center of the 1H spectrum if 1H-decoupling is applied). Use a short hard 6Li pulse (for instance, p1=5 microseconds and pl0=0) and sw=30 to achieve an efficient bandwith.

ACQUISITION
PROCESSING
Calibrate the reference signal as a 0. The resulting sr value will be used as a external reference for other samples.
PLOT
OBSERVATIONS
Once the NMR signal has been detected, the 90 degree 6Li pulse must be calibrated using the AU paropt program (the p1 value must be varied). Use a long d1 value if required. Set the first maximum signal (90 degree pulse) as the p1 value.
