Characteristic NMR restraints of the less usual 3₁₀-helix conformation are:

similar NOE interactions as described for alpha-helix conformations, as well as of regular presence of d_aN(i,i+2) NOEs and the absence of d_aN(i,i+4) interactions.

CO(i)/NH(i+3) hydrogen bonds are also present.
