The 2D Arg-H^h(N^hC^zN^e)H^e experiment allows the sequence-specific assignment of arginine H^e and H^h guanidino protons in ¹³C,¹⁵N-labeled proteins in H₂O.

Implementation on any AVANCE spectrometer equipped with an inverse probehead, a third channel and pulsed field gradients (PFGs).

The original sequence was reported in 95JACS3556 .

A 2D ¹H-¹⁵N corerlation map is obtained correlating H^e guanidino protons (in F2) and Hⁿ guanidino protons (in F1) of arginine residues.
