The 2D Arg-H^e(N^eC^z)N^h experiment allows the sequence-specific assignment of arginine H^e guanidino protons and N^h nitrogens in ¹³C,¹⁵N-labeled proteins in H₂O.

Implementation on any AVANCE spectrometer equipped with an inverse probehead, a third channel and pulsed field gradients (PFGs).

The original sequence was reported in 94BIO14858 , 95JACS3556 .

A 2D ¹H-¹⁵N corerlation map is obtained correlating H^e guanidino protons (in F2) and N^h nitrogens (in F1) of arginine residues.
