3D HN(CA)HA-Gly

DESCRIPTION
The 3D HN(CA)HA-Gly experiment is a related version of the 3D HN(CA)HA experiment designed to selectively detect NH-CH2 spin systems by selecting two protons bound to alpha carbon Thus, it is useful for:
  • Glycines and residues following them
  • Side-chain NH-CH2(d) in arginine residues.
  • REQUIREMENTS
Implementation on AVANCE spectrometers equipped with a third channel and pulsed field gradients (PFGs).
    VERSIONS
The pulse sequence has been described in 93JMRB214-101 and 99JMR15-136 .
    EXPERIMENTAL DETAILS
    SPECTRA
The 3D experiment affords a 3D map with (F1,F2,F3=N,HA,NH) in which two types of correlations are displayed:
  • HN(i),N(i),CA(i),HA(i) via 1J(CA-N) (gly and arg residues)
  • HN(i-1),N(i-1),CA(i),HA(i) via 2J(CA-N) (residues preceding gly)
