The 2D w1,w2-13C/15N-doubly filtered NOESY experiment affords a 2D NOESY spectrum in which 1H directly-attached to both 13C/15N nuclei are efficiently filtered before and after evolution during the t1 and the acquisition periods. This experiment is widely used to study protein-ligand complexes, where the protein is usually 13C and/or 15N-labeled and the ligand is at natural abundance .REQUIREMENTS
Easy implementation on any AVANCE spectrometer equipped with an inverse probehead.VERSIONS
EXPERIMENTAL DETAILS13C/15N half filters ( 92JACS2433 , 96JB492-8 , 99JB43 ). In such cases, several options are feasible considering, for instance, 13C/12C isotopes:
- 13C(w1)-13C(w2) doubly filtered
- 13C(w1)-filtered/13C(w2)-selected
- 13C(w2)-filtered/13C(w1)-selected
- 13C(w1)-13C(w2) doubly selected
