Simultaneous Acquisition with Time-Sharing

Simulatenous data acquisition in time-sharing (TS) multi-dimensional NMR experiments has been shown an effective means to reduce experimental time. This can be accomplished by spin-evolution time-sharing of the X and Y heteronuclei, such as 13C and 15N, in one of the time domains. Some examples:
  • Simultaneous evolution of 13C and 15N chemical shift in the t1 period of 2D HMQC experiment ( 91JMR635-93 and 94JB201 ) or 2D HSQC experiment ( 94JB201 , 95JB97 , 01JB355 , 03JB193-27).
  • Time-shared 15N,13C-separated NOESY experiment in which 13C and 15N labeling can be encoded in the separate time domains of a 3D HSQC-NOESY-HSQC experiment (94JB673, 94BIO14858, 95JMRB294-108, 03JB193-27)
  • Simultaneous evolution of 13C and 15N chemical shift in the t2 period of 3D NOESY-HSQC experiment ( 94JMRB197-103 and 94BIO14858 , 01JB355 and 03JB193-27) and 3D TOCSY-HSQC experiment ( 94BIO14858 ).
