APPLICATION FIELDS

203,205Tl NMR spectroscopies offer optimal conditions for applying in thallium chemistry and on biochemical systems. Thus, the most favorable 205Tl spectra can be obtained from very low concentration samples.
NMR REFERENCES
Tl(NO3)3 in aqueous solution is used as an external reference (absolute frequency of 57.683838 MHz with respect to 100.00 MHz of TMS). Also see IUPAC recommendations for reporting the NMR chemical shits of all nuclei relative to the 1H resonance of TMS (02JMR323-156).
NMR PARAMETERS
205Tl chemical shifts cover a range of 7000 ppm for Tl(III) and 3000ppm for Tl(I).
J(205Tl,X) coupling constants can be measured with simplicity.
